Welcome Ashley DeRamus and Ashley by Design. The City of Leeds and Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting at Ashley by Design celebrating their grand opening at the Shops of Grand River on Friday. Mayor Pro-Tem Kenneth Washington along with Ashley DeRamus and a host of city and business leaders cut the ribbon on Friday. Ashley, a young lady with Downs Syndrome, launched Ashley by Design to support the Ashley DeRamus Foundation and its charities. The boutique sells women's clothing, accessories and specialty artwork.
