City of Leeds Imposed Curfew

City of Leeds Curfew has been imposed from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The executive order was modified later this afternoon from the original 7:00 PM to 6:00 PM. As civil unrest has escalated across our country, state an region, the City of Leeds is working to insure the safety of all our citizens. While the city is sensitive to the right of peaceful protests, the destruction of property and the endangerment of lives is not acceptable to the city or its citizens. The decision for the 6:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew to be imposed later this afternoon, much as many of our neighboring cities, was made after creditable threats had been received against the city, businesses and, most concerning, certain citizens of the city.
