New Tax Remit to Address

Attention Businesses Conducting Business in the City of Leeds:

Effective July 1, 2022, the City of Leeds will have a new “remit to” address for businesses reporting sales/use, lodging and rental tax as well as occupational tax.  This means that taxes generated during the month of June 2022 to be reported in July 2022 should be remitted to the new address.

Taxpayers should mail their remittance and any payment to:  City of Leeds, Sales Tax Trust Account, P. O. Box 830725, Birmingham, AL  35283-0725.

Taxpayers may still bring their payments directly to City Hall at 1400 9th Street, Leeds, AL 35094 or pay online.

For the month of May to be reported in June 2022, Taxpayers will mail their remittance and any payment to the old address.  This change begins with June 2022 taxes generated and reported in July.
