Leeds Senior Center Update

Thank you! Thank you! To the Leeds Fire Department for this past Thursday’s lunch – fried catfish, hush puppies, French fries and coleslaw. What a great group of people!! They helped us celebrate our April birthdays with great food, great company, and great fun. It was the perfect ending to our week.

We are excitedly looking forward to Sunday, May 1. The Senior Art Exhibit will open on this date at the Leeds Art Center. There will be a come and go reception from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Admission is free, and everyone is invited. Thanks and appreciation to the Leeds Arts Council for inviting us.

If you have not had an opportunity to check out the Leeds Senior Center, this week would be the perfect time!

Here’s our schedule for the week of April 25 – May 1, 2022

Monday, April 25 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Bible Study (12:15) – The Gospel of John

Tuesday, April 26 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• *Dominos, BUNCO, Banana Grams, Phase 10, Sequence and other games
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Let the games continue

Wednesday, April 27 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person

• Line Dancing – 12:30 (a fun time is had by all)

Thursday, April 28 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Art with Karen – RSVP is required
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person RSVP is required

Sunday, May 1 – 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

• Senior Art Exhibit opens at the Leeds Arts Center!!
• The exhibit is free and open to the public
