Leeds Senior Center Update

The First Day of Fall is one month from this Monday. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate because cooler temperatures can’t arrive soon enough.

We have had a great summer at the Center. In addition to our regular schedule, we have enjoyed several events at the Leeds Arts Council. Also, we have created some great art under the direction of Earthborn Pottery and Leslie Rutledge from the Wooden Anchor. Thank you!

If you’ve not had a chance to check out our Senior Center, this is the perfect time. We hope to see you this week.

Here’s our schedule for the week of August 21 – August 25, 2023

Monday, August 21 – open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
• Bible Study – I and II Timothy and Titus

Tuesday, August 22 – open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

• Games
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
• Regular Games continue

Wednesday, August 23 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)

• Line Dancing – 12:15

Thursday, August 24 – August Birthday Celebration – NOTE time change for this day

• For our Birthday Celebration, the doors open at 11:00
• It’s a Back to School theme – bring your school pictures
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
