Leeds Senior Center Update
It is going to be a great week at the Leeds Senior Center!
Our annual Christmas luncheon and program is Thursday, December 14, and an RSVP is required. We have a surprise guest coming to entertain us; it might be more than one guest. It remains a secret until Thursday! We are truly in the holiday spirit.
It’s the perfect season to check out the Senior Center. Please remember to RSVP for lunch 24 hours in advance – 205.699.0910
Here’s our schedule for the week of December 11 – December 15
Monday, December 11 – Open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
- Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
- Bible Study – 12:15 (We are studying II Timothy)
Tuesday, December 12 – open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- Games
- Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
- Games continue
Wednesday, December 13 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
- Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
- Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
- Line Dancing – 12:15
Thursday, December 14 – the doors do not open until 11:00 am – and an RSVP is required today!

Thank you to Edna DeGeorge! She spent time with us, helping us turn all of our plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless. We did the cutting and then, another group will "quilt" the strips into mats. This is a project that we will continue! Thank you, Edna!!
