Leeds Senior Center Update

The Center has been decorated for the Christmas season, and it looks beautiful. We enjoyed spending time with Dolores Hydcock and hearing wonderful stories about Christmas Memories. Her talented storytelling helped bring back our own memories of Christmas traditions, and reminded us all that Christmas can be found in the least expected places.

This week, in addition to our regularly scheduled activities, we will be participating in the City of Leeds Christmas Parade. The parade is Friday, December 10, and begins at 7:00 p.m. We will have stories to tell by the time the parade ends.

This is a great time to come and check out the Center. We hope to see you this week.

Our schedule for the week of December 6

Monday, December 6 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Bible Study (12:15) – The Gospel of John

 Tuesday, December 7 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• BUNCO, Banana Grams, Phase 10, Sequence and other games
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Let the games continue

Wednesday, December 8 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person

• Tai Chi – 12:45

Thursday, December 9 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Art with Karen – 10:00 am RSVP Required
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $ per person

Friday, December 10 – CITY OF LEEDS CHRISTMAS PARADE
