Leeds Senior Center Update

The Senior Center participated in the National Leap of Kindness Day. We collected needed supplies for Leeds Outreach. A huge “thank you” to Beverly Riddlesperger and ALL her volunteers at Leeds Outreach! They accomplish great things for our Leeds community.

We continue to cut up plastic bags and get them ready for a group who turns the bags into sleeping mats. These mats are then provided for those who are homeless.

The Senior Center will be closed on March 5. It is voting day, and the Center serves as a polling location.

If you have been thinking about the Senior Center, check out the videos on our website. Several of our Seniors have offered their thoughts, and their info might prompt you to come and visit!

Here’s our schedule for the week of March 4 – March 8, 2024

Monday, March 4 - open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
• Singing Our Favorite Hymns – 12:15

Tuesday, March 5 – The Center is Closed

• The Senior Center will be closed because it serves as a voting location
• We are taking a short trip for lunch – The Ark in Riverside

Wednesday, March 6 – open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
• Line Dancing – 12:15

Thursday, March 7 – open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

• Art with Leslie (a cost is involved, and an RSVP is required)
• Games
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person (RSVP required)
